So I bought a bunch of ghost shrimp yesterday and one caught my eye. Looks like she has some kind of worm in her? Is this something that can be transmitted to the ray if consumed? Any way to proactively treat the ray in case he already ate one like this?

Not sure if that will harm your ray. My guess is it would not be a good thing, but you could find liquid form prazipro and inject in into some of the foods they like to eat so they actually ingest the prazi.

I would dispose of it and quarantine the others.

Great camera work! I'd be tempted to throw out that whole batch. Or freeze them at least. Does prazi hurt shrimp?

It's a horsehair worm it's not supposed to transfer to fish but I would quarantine the shrimp and use prazi its shrimp safe.
