If you keep up with water changes and have sufficient filtration, you might be able to manage a month. I would just try and minimize it as it is not really a good idea.

Where in Greece? I used to be part of a Greek fish forum years back. Their community mostly had folks from Athens though. Hoping to return to Greece this summer for the first time in many years.

The forum was http://www.aquatek.gr/, but it has been like 13 years or so since I last logged in. Just checked and it looks like it still exists. There were a couple of other members on MFK from Greece but do not recall their names.

I was born in South Africa but my family is from Cyprus and Mitilini. I had several friends from Thessaloniki and Athens so before getting married and having kids I used to go frequently. A friend from Bolos is getting married in Rhodos this July, so the hope is to attend.
