I have a trio from Don as well. One white and black spotted female, an orange and green female, and an orange/black with a hint of green male. These fish are available through several of the vendors on here right now. Ken Davis is probably the cheapest. He has some nice F2 fry from a great looking pair for $5 each.
As far as what they are you can go back and read that thread. My personal opinion is that they are all Fenestratus from lake catemaco. You will have a hard time convincing me that something collected from one shore is a different fish then a fish collected a couple of miles away on the same lake.
As far as the differences in Paratheraps and Vieja. They have slighly different diets and roles in the food chain. Paratheraps tend to be more aggressive, have larger mouths and longer bodies.
