A few more update snaps of this colourful guy. I'll be moving him on soon, but have enjoyed growing him on in the few months i've had him.

Gorgeous! Mine is a lot smaller (3") and a lot less colorful. Now I know what to expect in the months to come. Why are you letting him go?

Lovely fish man, check these veija out, some im sure a cross with two species but there is definitely synspila in them.
1st pics looks like a syn and the 2nd pics kinda looks like a maculicauda.
Change that substrate to some thing darker and I bet you will see more color.

You're getting rid of the Argentea too? Getting one to that size must have taken a while. You must have some incredible CA stock in mind to be letting go such lovely cichlids. But I respect your reasons. There are many other cichlids to keep and part of the fun is experiencing as many as you can. I thought about getting an Argentea but I'm worried of the aggression with my other Viejas. I heard Argentea were very aggressive. I'm also considering a Nic but I'm still not sure. I can't wait to see what you get next.
