Paratheraps/Vieja Photo Thread

I believe most of them are Paraneetroplus now (Vieja is gone.....).

I bred some Paraneetroplus synspila in a 135g. I got 300 babies which I raised to breeding size. I gave away 150 of them.

Later I put the original group of 13 parents into my 15, and the 150 remaining babies (Now 5" to 8") into the 52. About 50 or so were eaten but this is what around 100 adult synspila look like in a shoal. The largest are 12" the smallest are 6".

The couple of the largest adults in the 15 are 14".

LOL... that is a riot! I had a jag like that once, years ago. You walk past the tank, and the thing would give itself a concussion trying to get through the glass to attack you!
