Paratilapia polleni 75 gal tankmates?

Funny, I happened to find this thread while googling "salvini tank mates" in an effort to figure out my tanks...

I have a 75g with a 2.5" firemouth, 2.5" polleni, and 4" male salvini (about 3-4 months) now.

The sal is the clear tank boss, so doesn't bother anyone. The fm flares at the polleni, who flares back. Looks to me like the fm is trying to act big and tough, but the polleni seems to know that he's more fish than the fm will ever be, so it doesn't bother him (or her?).

So, not sure if that helps you out, but thought I would share my experience. Good luck!

I have my Polleni with a Jewel at this time but will be getting rid of the Jewel as he is taking a real @$$woopin from my Polleni. I think I will try either a Salvini or Buttikoferi.

DanG: Not sure if I would go for either of those options if you're looking to downgrade the aggression -- what about something like a firemouth or severum..?

As for me, I can share an update:

salvini, polleni and firemouth were moved to a 60g (48"x15")
lived peacefully for a while
a few days ago the sal whomped the fm (who I moved to a HT)
Afraid that poll will also get whomped, so I moved him to a 55g predator tank (bichirs, ABK, African Leaf, Congo tetras)
So far poll and others seem to be getting along
