Not a question but a story, I lost my spaghetti (aka my sh*t) when it happened..

My little brother and sister we're staying with me for the weekend. Saturday I let them play video games pretty much all day (I'm the "cool" big sister :P) then on Sunday I told them they had to go outside for a few hours and get some fresh air etc.

My sister (7 at the time) grabbed a ball and ran outside to play. My brother (11 at the time) didn't want to go outside so he started coming up with excuses for not going outside, our conversation went something like this:

Me: come on Angus, you have to go outside for a bit, you can't stay cooped up in here all weekend.

Angus: I can't go outside.

Me: why not?

Angus: I'm allergic to vitamin D.

Me (trying not to laugh, failing epically): you're not allergic to vitamin D, now go outside and play with your sister.

Angus: I can't, I have fresh air induced asthma.

Me: you don't have "fresh air induced asthma", get outside and play.

Angus: I can't. Exercise makes my diabetes play up.

Me: you don't have diabetes, or fresh air induced asthma, or a vitamin D allergy or any other condition that would make it okay for you not to go outside, now get out there before I unplug the Xbox and cut the HDMI cord.

Angus: fine. But if I die because of this Sky and Aussie (other siblings) get all my things, you're not having any of it!

10 minutes after this debate he was outside having a blast trying to throw a ball through a makeshift basketball hoop (bucket with a hole in the bottom) that I put on the clothesline. They would spin the clothesline and try to get the ball into the bucket as it spun.

With siblings like this I don't need kids of my own lol

Kids are great when they're not yours :D

No worries. Figured I'd try and get the thread heading back in its original direction. :)

bless you! It's like herding cats with us lol
Herding cats... Never heard that one before. Sounds like it would be virtually impossible lol

When I was a very little girl, my grandfather used to keep a bucket of bait minnows in the garage because he would go fishing every evening. I was 4 yrs old when i decided i was going to take some of them home and keep them as pets. So I snuck into the garage and I put some in my pocket... I went off to play and forgot that I had taken them. My mom washed my clothes later and was finding dead eyeless little fish in the laundry. I dont fully remember it because I was little but my family still tells the story

I don't remember this but my parents tell this story.
Back when I was about 5 somehow I managed to get on the school bus to the high school without anyone noticing. No one found it weird that a 5 year old was wondering around in a high school and someone only realized that I shouldn't have been there when they found me in the girls bathroom. Apparently I told them who my mother was, a teacher at another school, and they called her and it went something like this. "Hello ____, we found your son in the girls bathroom at our high school. He's having a fun time but I'm assuming you want him back so come get him when you can." I was just having the best time with a group of cheer leaders that decided I was the cutest thing. Ask my mother and she'll confirm this story.
