I grew up in Houston, Tx nice and hot year round and apparently when I was little after baths I would run around the house nekkid to dry off.....
One fine day I am doing the post bath dry off routine but mom forgot to mention that company showed up while I was in the tub.... and they were messing around with a Kodak instant camera. (Yes in the 70's)
So I come running around the corner into the living room. Stop dead in my tracks. There was a mess of people there now that were not when I went into the bath. They all turn and look at me just as I cover my boy parts with my hands..... Click.......mom takes a picture......
And had to tell the story/show the pic to every friend/girlfriend I ever had.
The thing of it is, she never cut my hair till the day before kindergarten. So imagine cousin It, but only waist length hair and blond.....that was me.....and she has to show everone.

When Emma was 5 I walked into the bathroom to find her sitting in an empty bath tub wearing naught but her panties and a pair of heart shaped sun glasses. She was reading a book and sipping a juice box. I asked her "what are you doing, baby?" She says "I'm chillaxin' on the beach" ....ok. I just walked out and closed the door

I'm 36 and I still think light up shoes are cool lol. Your daughter is 10 shades of awesome
That's funny, she's been singing for the last 3 weeks saying,"I am awesome". I've been calling her the Miz(he's a wrestler that's catch phrase is I am awesome).

Hey. I will sometimes sit in my empty bathtub and read books or sometimes take a nap.

Hey, it's a small space and makes you feel safe.

I was making sandwhiches one night and heard the doorbell ring. Went to answer the door but no one was there. I closed the door and went back to the kitchen. My sandwhiches were gone. Plate and all. I spent 15min looking around the house because two individuals were conspicuously absent... Finaly some maniacal giggles gave her away. Emma had stolen the plate and she and the dog were hiding under a fish tank sharing the spoils of her crime lol
