parents and your tanks

Eh I moved out.....then my mother decides to get into the hobby. Now she has a 10gallon, 30g, and 55g. I've got her beat in gallonage with my 120 but she still has more tanks than me albeit some of them were my doing hehe. I'm just getting her used to the tanks for when I move back in temporarily for grad school and have to bring what she considers a monster tank with me. lol

I just bothered my parents about it enough, my dad started me and my brother both out with little 2.5 hex tanks. And when we moved to FL I got a 10g and my bro got a 20g. I kept talking about fish, and my parents knew I wasn't happy with having a smaller tank... I had to get a bigger one then my brother. So they got my a 29g for my birthday one year. And now I have a 29g and a 55g in my room, and Im stuck with them until I move out, as my parents are sick of all the fish tanks as my brother has a 20g and a 55g tank in addition to mine. I always used the good kid card, I would list all the bad things I haven't done and then tell them that I don't really want anything else besides a new fish tank, worked for me a couple of times lol.
