Hey, I know we have a few parents here and let me make me plea.
To start off i love Nintendo, and thing games are a great way for kids to learn problem solving between school and home projects...but
The technology used in the screen display may/will likely harm childrens eyes, Many adults feel sick after using it, this is because of the way the screen seem to display. To my understanding, our brain attempts to cross our eyes to see the image properly...but our eyes give up because its very hard to focus on something thats not actually there, so we end up looking "forward" at it. This eye strain then makes parts of your eye strong then they should be and effects sight.
Nintendo has put a cap at age 7, however, being someone who was basically blind at age 8 (pm if you want to know the full story) i would never let my kid use it untill they were 15 or older.
