Ok so I will be ordering an Ackie Monitor soon and my Parents are saying that I can only keep it in the garage and not my room because it will stink up the house and they are annoying the crap out of me. Can you guys please explain to them that they won't stink if they are properly cared for! I really would like some help people!

They're doing more for you than you think, why should they deal with a lizard running in the home if they don't like it. At least you can have one. Play with it in the garage. If you want the lizard enough you'll comply with their demands.
If you educate them on husbandry of the lizard, and show them by maintaining cleanliness in the tank there shouldn't be any smell. But that means you would have to be diligent with poop patrol.

I tried and they said no again.
I would say be thankfully that they will allow you to have it in there garage. If you get it and keep it in the garage for say 6 months keeping it clean and orderly. Then I would say ask them then to move it inside on a trial, that you keep up your duties.
With that screen name I figured you were an adult. Your bound by their rules until you live on your own. Take what they give you in support of your hobby; they are far from stupid.
