Thanks, I think your fish are indeed the offspring. What is wild to think is that all menarambo in Europe and America came from French aquarists and are all siblings or closely related.
 
Beautiful specimens, Jose. What size tank are you housing them in and how many adults do you have in there?

Hello Jim:
Thank you, there is a total of 15 menarambo, about 10 of them are adults, the others are juveniles. They live in a standard 240 gallon aquarium. I used to have a Dutch style tank that was 18 inches deep but afforded more surface area, it was 220 gallons, there the fish were happier and spawn up to 3 pairs simultaneously, the tank started leaking so I moved them to their current home. I use only wet dry filters.
 
Those are awesome! Very nice fish and it is cool you have had them so long. Someday i am going to have to get a few of those. I had 4 baby ones once but they got ich from some baby dats i got at the same time and I got them all through that ok but I think they had some other kind of sickness too and I never could figure out what, I tried everything I could think of but ended up loosing all 4. I loved them though they are such cool fish. Someday.

Did u keep those two together?? And what temp did u put them at??
