Was thinking on getting a RTCxTSN for a pond i am planning , but kept on getting told there is a very high chance he will just end up eating my other fish which go in the pond .

Could i go with a Paroon or/and a Lima Catfish instead to go in the pond ?

Would love to get both but if i could only get one which one would be best ?

Pond size ! See picture .

it mainly depends on what u are puting in there paroon sharks get huge and can eat things that a rtcxtsn wouldnt and the lima would do fine in that probly love it lol but yea depedns on the other fish.

So i should get a Lime Catfish ?

That would be the best one to go for out of the Paroon and the Lima ?

FILTRATION WILL BE HELL!!!! dontcha think?:/

Filtation will be 2 maybe 3 large pond pumps and Uv filters .

I have a large Koi pond out in the back garden bigger than the pond i planning on building with 2 large pumps and Uv filters running at 1210GPH on it and it's very clean with no problems of brown/ green water . So i am planning on getting a couple of the same to go on the Trop' Pond .

Definitly a lima.
Paroons will EVENTUALLY get way too big for that pond, and they are just as good at eating large fish as a rtc is...

So true, get a lima, maybe marble.

Get lima as paroon shark will eat ANY fish even if its same size of paroon. Lima's easy to handle that you dont have to worry other fish of same size being eaten. Ive heard horrible stories about paroon sharks.

Paroon will get to big go with the lima then

I would also add a marble catfish ( leiarius marmoratus ) they would do great in that pond and are really cool catfish
