Found this little one at local fish store. Looks a little pale than the rest, hope it will grow into a platinum.

Nice, will be good to keep track of but I fear it’s just young and in very bright/ white surroundings.
Nice find indeed,paroons are awesome cats to keep,tankmates days are numbered if they are small enough to be eaten.
it might not be a platinum. it's colour might be due to lighting or light background or poor fish genetics, like my id shark. my id shark is grey instead of black
You guys were right! It turned back into a normal Paroon after I placed in a bigger darker tank.

an update...
It's around 7" now, almost as big as my datnoids. I found a potential buyer but at the same time I don't want to let it go.
I feel bad that I didn't set up the 300G pond for it, but its also a pain to set it up.

To be honest it’s probably gonna be for the best. This thing is looking good, growing fast, and will quickly outgrow the 300.
