I don't think so. I've heard plenty of reports of parrots successfully breeding.
 
If all male parrot fish were sterile, there would be none in existance.
 
They arent sterile, well at least not all of them. At an LFS over here they have a pair that breeds pretty frequently.

They are mostly sterile. I don't know what percent of them are, but i have seens ome that aren't so its not impossible.

Well out of 2200 members at BP forum I can only recall 1 occasion where a fertile male bp has been found and even then there was suspisions that it wasnt a true bpxbp spawn. BTW were not talking about Jelly Beans BP's or spawns from female BP x male PC. If anyone has 100% proof of mating, spawning and the fry I would be interested to see the proof.
