If parrots are really hybrids ... why can they still breed?

I thought hybrids (e.g. mules) couldn't...
 
Hybrid's definition is definately outdated. Keep in mind that nature is what it is and will do what it does. We try to define it to make it more understandable.

I agree with Zach though... looks pretty cool, but I wish it could close its mouth.
 
I wonder what would happen if you could breed a (big) flowerhorn with a king kong parrot?

... monster flowerhorn looking fish that can't close it's mouth :eek:
