it defenatly looks normal (their huybrids thats why their mouth varies from fish to fish) ive got a jumbo parrot and shes 11". Its a lovely fish and tank well done. Have your parrots not started building nests yet your tank will look like a trash yard wen they mature. With mine i allways fix the plants and a huge rock thats in with her 30 mins later shes rearanged them. Ive give up now.

Either way its a female. Her and my largest parrot are digging out one of the logs right now.

I doubt that. There are lots of blood parrots that can close its mouth, so it is not rare thing.

Well here it is rare. I ALWAYS look at the parrots when I go into any store that sells fish and I have been to every store worth going to in the state. Majority of them I frequent often.
