ok guys just got rid of convict idk really wanted it to go to good home now just got parrot right now in 10. i like this parrot alot i really want to keep him so 10 gallon is fine for now or no? he is 1 inch all black. 55 can

its always a judgement call this is a soft lesson the more room the better for everyone. there is no rule/law just have to research and make the best choices for the fish. 10 gal for one is pushing it too the absolute limit (IMO) i have seen sad sad sad setups. research, buy used,.... are you crafty there are many web sites that help guide even nubees build your own and that way you are not restricted to 55 75 100 150 ect.... just build it big! anyway its really up to you and i dont think people will hate you for keeping a single parrot in a 10 for a while 6 mos though is exactly twice as ideal!
