i smell eggys!!! :grinyes:
yep, def nesting behavior. hopefully you'll get some little guys. be careful so the others don't eat them though. :WHOA:

If it is nesting behavior.... and if none of the other fishes eat the eggs, they might even eventually eat them up themselves. I had mine do that before.
But parrots do occasionally just move rocks for the heck of it, it's their natural habit.
I've heard that parrot fishes are sterile and that their eggs will not hatch.... I don't know if its true though. Does anyone know the truth about this?

They can be sterile, but not all of them are. My parrots both dig and rearrange things on a regular basis. They inadvertantly murdered a baby royal pleco by moving so much gravel that a rock/slate tower collapsed and squished it.

My two are definately a "pair", but we can't decide exactly, who's the 'he' and who's the 'she'. Sometimes they seem to switch..... Doree, was the girl, has lighter coloring, and shorter fins. Vito was the boy, with dark red color and long trailing fins. Vito laid the last batch of eggs. Who knows.

As far as your guys, they might breed, might not- they just ALWAYS move rocks. It does give them something to do if you fill in their hole everynight ;)

lol I ll make them mad and start filling holes hahahaha... I dunno I just though they are so small to be like that they they only 2-3 inches. not very big, oh well as long as I dont have a sqquish inncodent b/c my bumble bee cat is there!!

My parrot hasn't been moving rocks that I know of, but I think this may be because her mouth is so little..... Matter of fact, she has her own special food cause she can't fit my other fishes food in her mouth!

I do not mess with my JD's holes...... Smoothed them over a couple times and each time he got pissed....... Waste of time anyways, convinced that he could did a hole big enough to bury me in 10 minutes flat......
