There are still jags in the quarry pond on UH campus. They're just no where near as common as the red devils, convicts, and 5 stars.

I caught these in the Japanese Gardens on upper campus.

And the bigger the bait, the bigger the tucs you catch with it!

I'd catch about one jag for every 50 other fish (made up of probably 20 5 star generals, 20 red devils, and 9 convicts). All were caught over by the stream entrance with a bit of worm or bread and a bobber...

Oh that is outstanding. The red devils , 5 star I love as have never seen those in Florida .
