Well work is slow, as it has been for many, but I just see that as an opportunity to reconnect with my love of fishkeeping. Unfortunately, my finances do not have the same upbeat attitude as I do (screw them). Anyway, I have been killing time by taking photos of some of my favorites. And since you all have given me hours of entertainment and inspiration with your photos and stories - the monster fish and monster tank builds are awesome - I would like to give back a little and share some of them with you. Yes, I know I spelled Senegalus wrong in the pic. I am just learning and still trying to figure out how all the stuff works.
I never thought I would ever be saying this but I am just old school, as in I am in the over 40 category:eek3:

Yes he is a Amph. Red Isleta from TUIC Jeff Rapps. He is about 5 or more inches and he is just awesome. I've noticed his red coloring fades in and out with his mood and so does his nuchal hump at times. Very cool fish.

yeah ive gotten into Amphilophus too especially midas i have a barred midas in my avatar
