Passenger jet missing

Now they are looking into the pilots backgrounds...kinda slow response. The one strange thing is that it was found on radar at 45000 ft, which is higher than its recommended altitude. I wonder if that affected its route or possible final destination

It's rated for 43k so only 2000ft higher than the plane's rated for and there's a pretty generous safety factor.

I think they just shared that info yesterday but police have been at both houses since the plane first disappeared according to relatives of the pilots.

I'm not saying it was the Captain but he did attend a terrorist trail earlier that day and was heavy into politics, plus with having that flight simulator at his place. I wonder who else trained at his place that might have been on that plane?

Now they have said the plane could have gone even 8 hours now.

Anyone check craigslist?

Seriously though, if it was hijacked then the ~300 people will have to be dealt with. 2 options if you're a terrorist: seclude them, but then you gotta deal with keeping them alive, possibly sell for human trafficking in a safe manner that doesn't give you away, and watch for some smart or physically adept hero to cause enough **** for a few people to escape and tell the story and possibly screw their plan over. Option 2: take them out. Which sounds easier/safer to terrorists to you? Sounds like either way we will never see the people again, which is the tragedy here.

Anyone think about what they would do if you were the pilot and you were "compelled" to fly the plane somewhere? With 911 they're probably trained to follow a strict protocol, likely to drive the plane into the ocean before it kills 10x the people on it. The terrorists probably know this very well, so they're taking the control out of the pilots hands. This means a) pilot in on it, b) you're screwed by a group so organized they can take over the controls from a pilot post 911 and prevent a revolt from passengers (maybe killed the pilot and then who flies the plane?) or c) very unfortunate disaster with no foul play. Every which way we look at this, I don't see an even remotely satisfactory ending anywhere, unless by some odd chance a bunch of people survived a crash and are successfully living off the wild for a bit. While solving a mystery like this is warranted, i would hate to see it be a highjacking because then everyone will be constantly looking at the skies for a rogue plane and air travel will become even more of a hell than it is now.

Another thing on my mind is regardless of what went on, why was nothing at all posted on social media? With twitter being as hot as it is, you'd think someone would get something out if the passengers had any indication at the first sign of trouble.
