Passenger jet missing

It's very possible but it doesn't explain alot of things. How did they get so far off course? Why didn't the pilot correct the course(any pilot can tell north from south)? Why were the engine transponders turned off manually? Why did it go 7-8 hours more with no communication? Why did none of the passengers call on their cell phone? Why did the plane suddenly fly high attitude then low attitude?
 
Sounds like this could be it. Crazy if so, with the battery about to expire and all.
 
From the article it sounds like it has to be an airplane that is giving of the signal. Sounds pretty promising

I wonder of it was faked to sound like the cool kid/hero. This lone vessel makes a discovery that cant be proven right as the battery dies?
If its too good to be true.....

I waited several days to post my negative comment. It was my first thought though when they said it was only a 30 second recording (I forgot exact details).
