I've waited 5+ hours for my aro to die (which ended up in my brother killing it, had no other choice) does that count??

What hapenned? :(

For me it hasn't been waiting on a fish, it's been the patience of starting my first tank. I've been working for about four months now just to get to the point where I know what I want and how best to start it. I still have ten weeks to wait after I order the tank since it's a custom tank from a small but busy shop. So I guess I will have to wait around three months more before the first fish can arive. :jaw-dropp
Lucky for me I work with fish every day. That makes it a bit easier.

I brought a prego guppy (2") back when n00bs liked livebearers and it took 5 months before it had a batch of fry. She had 12 and the day after she died. I fed the fry to my tetras.

well..first is waiting for my ahlis to get big enough to put in the 300, second, waiting on another payday to buy something for the tanks. Third waiting for the item when I do get to order something. and waiting to buy things I need/what that are at a good price. I'm sure there's more.

i waited for almost 4yrs before i tried to put together a SW tank, and now that i have i did a 10g nano semi-reef(not sure a coral frag makes it a reef) but i broke that down within about 4mo and am working on my 29g nano reef which is about 4mo old.

i have no patience at all. I'm selling my house in Spring 2009 and have thought about adding a bonus room to my current house(for my fish!). Fiance already thinks I'm nuts!!!! My house is a 2 bed, 1 bath, so not a lot of room. I'm building my next house which will consist of the entire basement being a breeding facility. The whole basement will be wired and plumbed according to my setup I have planned.

As far as fish, I come home everyday and hope to see EGGS!!! Egss or no eggs, I still love it!:) But I am pulling my hair out trying to find the rare fish I want to breed.

my first senagal bichir which i bought at petsmart (2.5"-3") grew to 5-6in. in a year then died. :(
