Patternless Convicts

I was at the lfs the other day when I happened to look in their Convict tank. They had some that had no patterns on them with a grayish-blue sheen to them. Are these hybrids or a different species all together?
 
no idea never heard of them wouldnt mind gettin some though
 
I have one that's all black almost all the time...when he stresses he lightens and you see the typical con striping but most of the time he's just plain black.

It's not black though...it's grayish-blue, so it's on the light colored side. They have a black spot before the caudal fin, but that's about all the pattern they have.
