Patting fish....

I know a lot of you people have vids out there of you patting your fishy friends...

I just wanted the general consensus on it. I find it fun and cool, I have just started to pat my crazy scared silver dollars... the mrs doesn't understand.. and I get weird looks when I say I pat my fish (it’s no metaphor)...


Please, Let me know what you guys think of fish patting...

I pat my fishies. It is fun and the fish seem to enjoy it. The only one i can currently pat is my pacu but he seems to relish in swimming through my fingers.

i also do this, but my FH's and Midas are the only ones that enjoy it. especially when i gently rub their swollen lump heads. the FH's really don't mind at all no matter how i pat them. but the midas he doesn't like any hand actually in his tank, just rub his head at the surface.

I do it to my O's a lot, been trying to get the midas to let me do it on his little hump but he just wants to bite me.....
