Might be more of an issue that she still apparently uses it. Also, just because other people were doing it doesn't make it right.

It really depends. I used to have a coworker who is about that age, nice guy, not a racists bone in him, but when he talks to me he would use the terms chinaman and japs a lot; but by context and a lot of time spent with him I know he didn't really mean anything bad, so I just let it slide.

Don't know Paula dean personally so can't make a judgement either way.

Reminds me of an old timer that I know who refers to all Europeans as Krauts lol.

but that used none of the authentic recipe cooking principles, so it'd never work the same. breast meat is the driest part of poultry, whereas whole bird juices would baste the outer bird from the inside out... also, slow cooking at low heat works with larger meats but would totally ruin breast alone

As a teen I worked at KFC and a large portion of the customers only wanted the breasts.It is said to be the least fatty piece but it is my least favorite...I'm a leg and thigh man.
