Paver Sand from Home Depot

I am looking to switch to sand from rock. My question is, does anyone have a recommendation between PFS or paver sand. I'm thinking paver sand because of the larger size and also it has a more natural look to me.

i went to homedepot and bought 3 50 lb bags of pavers sand , took a day to clear up but all is good now , ended up clear .

I use the paver sand and small and large pebbles. They are great, but you have to rinse the heck out of them before using.

Paver sand is great stuff. I used it in my 600.

i used play sand from homedepot good stuff looked nice also

Personally as far as sand I like the playsand better. The paver sand is OK, but gives a peach colored glow that seemed to wash out the colors in my tanks. The grain size is also very inconstant and seemed like I washed half of it away before it cleared.

i have it in my 240 yeah takes a long time to wash but in the end gives more of a natural look i think

Nope i am an avid user of pool filter sand I usually find it at home depot. i use if for african an SA. anybody use bricks/pavers in ther tanks for decoration
