payara care

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
thanks Miles very cool, i am going to really make it perfect and hope for the best! I am still having trouble with any pumps in the water, they all bother my ghost! there is a chance the 3 i have used are all old and leaking electric, so i am going to buy a new pump.
I heard when payaras are small they dont like current, until they get bigger is when they venture to the fast moving rivers. I could be totally wrong on that though keep in touch Howie

could someone please tell me what pH is ideal for my payara? the poor guy doesn't seem to be eating at all!! tried putting medicine for internal paracites into the tank, adding black water, all that stuff... only thing i can think of is the pH level.

thanks in advance

Try neutral ph 7.0. That is what I did with mine a little lower wouldn't hurt either.
