There a great fish to keep.. the others pics are the armatus mate! Mine are scomberoides..not much difference between the two fish at the size they are now. But as they grow out you can tell the difference.. Armatus is the big boy at max size.Wow those are awesome looking!
Payara have always been a fish I've been interested in and seeing this thread just makes me want one or two or three more. lol.

Here's the one I'm currently raising. Got Afro died due to unknown reason and added a hand feeding Juruenese catfish and a FLG. you should they are pretty hard fishy and extremely interesting fish but in my experience maybe due to the footprint of grow out tank having 2 was a catastrophe. The more dominate one kept chasing the other one to the point where he could barely eat due to the bass and armatus packing up.Wow those are awesome looking!
