Thats funny cause my ATF is almost twice the size of my red-tail and he gets punked out by the payara all day long!

right now 140gal. i only have 4 vamps left out of 8. my water is f***ed. i lost 2 scombs, 1 raph and one redtail, and my armatus now has some bacterial infection. if he dies im going to be p***ed

I qt all mine with Cupremine before they go into thier new home. This advice was given to me by a reputable vendor. In fact he sent me the stuff with my last batch of retails.

i found out that my sand was the problem. after i took out my rays bacteria built very quick and got everyone sick, so without thinking i took out the sand with all the fish still in the tank which was a big mistake and wish i didnt have to learn things the hard way. im treating heavily and hope my armatus pulls through. the good news is now my nitrate went down so after they get better i will have no problems. read my lips f**k sand. sorry
thanks, RIP little vamps. my armatus is hangin in there and somehow he got a parasite and being treated as we speak. probably from the wild redtail.
Got some new pics of my armatus (damn the glass is dirty!). Is the gold color normal for an armatus? Just started developing last week maybe. Not complaining but just curious.
