Tats are red-tail payara. hydrolycus tatauia. Quick and by an armatus while RW still has them cause payara fever is about to set it!

Tat is short for Hydrolycus Tatauaia. A Red Tail Payara. The 2nd best of the Payars in my opinion (Im sure in a lot of other too). They suppos max out around 18" in home aquariums. Nice pick up. Ive been trying to get one over here in Los Angeles.

just google payara and u will find everything u need to know. if u want a real payara and have a monster tank, look up armatus!

ive looked these up, but is still can see any obvious differences between the fish at this stage. looking at my pic, i couldnt really tell what it is. what made yall say it was a red tail versus the other kinds?? im just curious and tryin to learn.
