honestly i don't know what type i'm a noob also but i love my African tiger fish to much for me to sell it .. so im selling this guy ... the LFS i got it from said it was a payara so im going by what he told me i got it for $60 ..

Payara, Yes. Its the type of family like Pitbull. Just what type from this family and yours is a Scomb. Sorry to tell you but you paid a lil high for it.

Almost everyone before becoming a member of MFK was ripped off or paid the price of LFS (Local Fish Stores) and you will see a whole other world of species here on MFK and prices are way better too

Yeah it's a scomb and no offense but you paying $60 is too high. They go for $40 at the lfs here and as West1 said you'll see that the prices on this site are usually well below lfs prices and no one will buy a fish on here for a lfs price let alone the lfs price plus your mark up. Not trying to bad mouth you just trying to let you know a little about how the site works so maybe you can have better luck making room for your VATF.
