is a payara posisbel with ray's and a arowana and some jurupari chiclids and a oscar .

do'nt have any experience with the agression . they said my arowana woud be fierce wel hey is tame i handfeed ma arowana ( ik put feeder fich in his mouth like you feed a baby )

the tank is 3 meters long and 1meter deep en 1 meter high.

greetings

and what species do you recommend ?

I have two 6 inch red tail tat's in with my two marble motoro's, flag tail, VATF, and A breeding pair of discus.

As long as your arrow can't eat them i think it should work. the cichlids might be the biggest problem IMO.

not sure what species you should try, i'm new to them as well. right now i have 3 tat's, 2 scomb's, and 1 raph.

seems like my tat's are the most aggresive.

here's mine with my rays.

It is a combo that has failed many times before for many different people. It might work out, but for how long is the question. I would not try it. As expensive and as hard to find as good payara are. It would suck for the ray to eat it or the cichlids to pester it to death.

ya my rays have already took out two raphs and one scomb already. these two tat's are the only ones that have lived more than two weeks with my rays.

tats or armatus r ur best bet.

the problem w tats is that they grow alot slower then rays.

The Oscars could cause trouble because they are greedy and would likely try to eat more than their share of the food and possibly bully the payara. The rays could even eat or harm the payara by trying to eat them if they are not big enough but I dont see any problems out of the eartheaters, they are usually peaceful.

Sounds like a good sized tank but I just noticed the Flagtail that you didnt mention.I have never kept them but I have heard that they can harrass other fish as they get bigger.I agree with Hybridtheory that the potential is too great that your payara will be in some kind of danger and they are too hard to come by.
