not sure if this is the right section.
i found a lfs that has them for 40 bucks,is that good?
there the ones that swim at a 45 degree angle.
whats the min tank for a full grown?
fun fish to have?
good with tankmates?

I don't know anything about them but I can tell you that they get huge. I see many videos and pictures of people who catch them while fishing. They are big.

If they do they are probably Scombs. They grow to around a foot in an aquarium. Mine are the best feeder shredders ever!!!

40 is about an average price for the scomberoides, which is what im guessing they are.(a little more for the tatauia, and alot more for the armatus)
They dont really bother anyone that they cant eat. They don't swim around too much, mostly sit still and twitch. Cool fish nonetheless.

I got mine for $25 each, but I am a regular customer, I bought both he had, and I usually haggle a little Mine are also pretty small...4". I have seen them in that same store at a slightly larger size for $50 each. So if they are the same size as those...thats a good price. It's hard for me to gauge prices on oddball fish, cause they come around and then I won't see anything cool as whatever it was for a year.

I don't think they harass anything they can't eat.

I agree they twitch i have two as well. I also have them eating frozen krill and red worms? They are with datnoids, peacock bass, red tailed barracuda, and my green arrowana and they seem to be fine.

ya they could be around 4" now.
what temp do they like?
lookin like i might get one soon,i want teeth!
this lfs had just junk fish then today i go in,they have endis,big bichirs"endis?lol,pbass,temensis,payaras and more.lol
they suck tho,no prices,have to ask on every fish
and they have some not so healthy fish.
im used to that around here tho.lil salt and a q tank and it will be good.
is a lil salt ok for these guys if i need to?lol
