payara questions

My redtail isnt the nicest fish in my tank. He is 6-7" and beats the hell out of my 12" ATF. Ive seen him snag scales off of the tiger fish! :yikes:

I keep my water right around 80f...they seem to like it. They eat a lot!! I haven't seen any aggression in mine except towards each other, and that is rare and last only a second. SO... I would guess your hands are safe.

i have a jardini and silver with 4 diff species of vamps and they do ok because theyre all around the same size and the aro's stay at the top. if they are totally diff sizes u will have problems. scombs, armatus and red tails can be very aggressive especially if theyre not used to tankmates. i had to take my red tail out because he got too bittie
