Yeah, you see them in schools when they are smaller, but pretty tough to get a school of 10 12" Balas!

haha wurm, that is what I was thinking...

Ive seen lots of big balas as trade ins but never this thick and in this good of condition. He is really THICK and weighs a solid pound or more!

I know it sounds dumb but I dont know what the previous owner fed and I feed mostly shrimp, nightcrawlers, and feeders. What should I offer this guy?

The payara does have some great colors. Im loving how much bronze he has. Unfortunately he still hasnt got on prepared foods. Ive tried tieing the tail end of a piece to a shrimp a wiggle it a bit. Everyonce in a while he will hit it but never swallows.

A LFS is getting some "sabertooths" in soon. Hopefully Ill get lucky like aro-man and vamp-trev and find an armatus mixed in!
