payara (vampire tetra) with pBass

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have kepted my red tail payara w/ pbass for over a year, but a 3 inch pbass and a 5 inch payara could be bad. I haven't had any problems so far and honestly my bass grow so much faster idk how my 13in brokopondo hasnt eaten my 6 inch payara by now but they are still getting along until we move than I will switch payara into a tank w/ smaller pbass. My vampire eats krill which is great...

It can be done, but wouldnt recommend it unless you find a armatus. Faster growth and larger max size than the other species.

the armatus will probilby kill it....^^^

I was thinking of this video! That is one beastly looking black armatus!

My redtail killd my same size pleurophthalma just by bumping in to it. No real agresion did not try to eat it. Just a littel bump.
But with these teeth it stil was leathel
