Payara with a mix of eartheaters?

Can Hydrolycus Amatus live in a mix of Satanoperca and Geophagus in a 300G? One of my dream fish, but I don't want my favorite sand sifting pals to become payara chow. If I'm not mistaken, Payara are naturally found with some geophagus species (I believe winemilleri (?) ) Common sense would tell me not to, as I've seen 14 inch specimens eat large trout...just wondering if anyone had success with them.

After watching this, I'd hesitate keeping them with anything peaceful and Geo-sized.

I recall someone having a display with one of them with a group of large altifrons....unless he was using those geos as feeders...

They're tankmates until the payara grows large enough to make them feeders.
