More than likely they are Tats, Yellow tail varient. Ive had several of these now, not that rare as most of them turn red after a year or so.
Thanks bro for posting!

Best I could do...
Can you See the bright yellow! If they are Tats I will get them. I just would rather not purchase any scombs due to space issues.

Without pics a proper ID is impossible. I'm inclined to think tatauaia as well, but we can't know for sure.
I think it's an armatus because of the black mark near the gill plate. for cheap you say......
Thanks Rob so then Tats can also have a yellow tail and act like red tail tats? Just don't want any stubborn Scombs not wanting to eat tilapia.
Bro i was thinking there heads look like that but Armatus I was thinking would never have a full on no mistaken yellow tail.
Really cheap 40 each wholesale to my bros fish store, he would sell for 149.00.

i made a mistake and I made an edit on my post straight after. Yup it's a yellow tail tat.
Thanks bro as always I appreciate you. Do you have any information on them? Are they just like red tails tats?
But they have to be 100% Tats and not Scombs?
they definitely aren't scombs in my eyes. Scombs don't have that distinctive black marking at the gill plate. red tail and yellow tail should have the same personality. I have seen the yellow tail in one occasion at payarakeeper's place. Acts the same as any payara, lol My advice is to just keep it like your big boi armatus. But I definitely wouldn't keep them together though.
