Yes I've seen acrylic tanks with different thickness. Glasscages makes very thick walls.

When I had the 225 delivered from Custom Aquariums they put it in my garage. My brother and I opened the crate and checked everything out.

The place I ordered from has a dedicated driver he was very nice he actually let me keep 2 of his moving dollies and came back a month later for them.
