here is a perfect description..... of a orinoto compare with the monoculus that you have... i would say identifyers are: body shape,color,dorsal fin, the tint/glow of green/blue, and having speckles at a certain size starting @ 5-6inches..

I don't know which speckles you are talking about but both my Mono's and Orino's got speckles on their dorsal fins at 3".

most pbass have spots on their dorsal fins and tails....
look at the first pic i posted... you will see shades of speckles on the body...
if you cant see it in that pic.... look @ my secound pic/post... and look @ the body...OrInOcEnSiS...

i already knew that.. i just thought you were talking about the speckles on the dorsal fin and i wanted to correct you, that is all. i'm not stupid i know what they look like.

now hopefully TEZR will notice the differnce in these pea's..... after all,, we are practically showing him the growing phases of the orinocensis pbass...

hers another for ya TEZR... after all the color changing/speckles... the transformation of maturation to beautiful rosettes.. and all we can do know is wait and see how big they GeT...
