Pbass and aro

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have had luck with larger South American cichlids. I have also kept them with clown knives, and younger African tiger fish (Don't recommend).

General rule of thumb is anything too big to be eaten, and keep aggression balanced
Had kept a butterkoferi with them which was smaller than them, the butterkoferi mess the pbass up probably would've killed him if I had to keep them together any longer

pikes... Severums (liberifer and Severus)... flagtail.... silver dollars... plecos....Hoplarchus.... Oscars....

Have to keep aggression in check....Buttikoferi are nasty fish

datnoids are my mid swimmers. i have 4 bichirs, 3 dats, and 1 silver aro and i feel like the top/middle/bottom are all covered now and love the look of the tank. i don't know how big your tank is but in the past i've had giant gourami as my mid swimmer but they can be a bit aggressive in smaller tanks.
