PBass and Silver Aro?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
As long as your aro keeps up with the growth of the pbass, you should be fine. I have a silver aro in with two monos and the aro is about 3" - 4" longer than the pbass. Every once in a while the pbass will chase the aro away but otherwise they are all fine together.

I would be more worried for the pbass, you gar can really eat a mouth full.
no way my gars are about 12-14" and can't even eat a whole shrimp, I have to cut it up in strips... My largest bass is 15" and will eat 6" african cichlids and then say can I have more..

Hey toxic, here is my 10" gar eating that whole shrimp, took him 17 minutes though.

My pbass live fine with my arowanas, I also have 2 gars in there too

I have a 5-6 inch aro and 3 5-6 inch p-bass all living in relative harmony as long as they are roughly the same size or the arrow is a bit bigger it will be fine

It will be fine.

Great pix :)

Great thanks for all the feedback. Right now the 4 pbass are about 4-5 inches I guess and the gar is about 11 inches and will be putting the 6 inch aro in soon as the sand is out of there.

The peacock bass will not be a problem to your aro, but what out for the gar, it will not eat the arowana but will give a nasty bite that might damaged the fins. Just be on the look out.
