dieselmack, when i first came to this site, i saw the pic of that 450 gal. tank. Next fall, I'm ordering a custom built 5x4 foot tank due to seeing yours. I saved it to my computer. That is my goal. I want a cichla tank that is heavily planted just like that. that is my inspiration.

thankx...my tank is 6ft x 4ft x 30" .....and the plants are fake :naughty: the big fish were uprooting and thrashing the live plants and clogging the overflow with branches ect...with an 1800gph pump pushing, it would pull everything right to the overflow. I will be watching out for you tank :thumbsup:

What'up Jey........8" wild cichla orinocensis...got these guys way back when rapps got a batch of lil 1"ers in....they are from the group that everyones were dying....mine didnt die :grinno: :grinno: they are def badass...the pics dont do them justice...they have a ton of blue and green metallics that just wont take with the camera.
