I disagree :grinyes: there are several river systems that produce C. ocellaris and several lake systems where they have been introduced and are established. I have personally 1 wild caught peruvian and have seen countless photos from exporters and fisherman I know that fish the area...

I understand the variability of cichla...just disagree on your statement that if from peru it is a monoculus ;)
