Pbass feeding

same here...
my barras and every pbass ive owned wouldnt eat off the bottom.
but if the food was moved back into the middle column they'd eat it.
but occasionally they will take food from the bottom only when they were in a bare bottom tank.

My (6) 5'' mono's will eat the live tubifex worms off the bottom, probably cause they are live.....starvin them onto pellets now....hope they get smart and dont starve themselves....day 2 today.

yep my bass are exactly the same. i just feed them slower and make sure they get each piece

i've got plenty of plecos to clean up the mess as well

Glad to know I'm not alone. My new Tem has taken a cpl of pieces of Tilapia off of the bottom. But I think thats only because the pike was eyeing it.
