Sorry for your loss man. Pbass at that age/size are pretty damn fragile. I hope the rest of your little ones make it to the 6'' mark. After that It's pretty much smooth sailing.
In 3 days one has out grown the other by about 1/4 inch and is much fatter and eats a lot more readily but hopefully the smaller one starts eating more.

just a quick update the 2 mono pbass fry are growing well so i added them to the 220gal commune tank and have been doing well they will be the kings of this tank soon (you can see them collecting their share of the blood worm they look tiny in there) all though some of the other inhabitants are large they are all friendly including the turtle i once wasted money on a bag of feeders which lived to old age with this crew so i am +tive they will be safe [YT]2kZ4K2XxXYk[/YT]

Congrats on the pick ups..What size tank were they in before the 220? In my opinion its better to keep them in a smaller tank till they get bigger. I want all of my cichla on pellets and its alot easier to train them in a smaller tank. When i had my baby cichlas i had them in a 10 gal.....then a 40 gal......then my 225 gal. Also sorry about your loss. Dont worry though..u will get the fever and will buying more...haha

They were in a 125 but i have a jardini coming today so best he has that to himself. Ideally i could keep them by them selves so i could pellet train them but they are already tasting the sinking granules (and spitting them out) but hopefully they develop a taste for them.

A couple of better photos the larger one is nearing 2" the smaller one has just started going crazy on the food and will catch up pretty fast i hope.
