PBASS.. live feeding? good or bad?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
This is great stuff. Are you treating them for Ich? What are you using? Are you feeding them flakes to fatten them? I have a 55 gal that I am thinking of using for this. I will need a second tank for the transfer. Thanks for the information.

thank you guys for all of your replies.. i appreciate it a lot!:D and i am learning many things here at MFK especially when it comes to pbass..

honestly i very much like to feed my pbass with non live foods such as pellets and frozen fish. because it is a lot cheaper. before i fed my pbass goldfish from juvy until 14inches.. and i lost many of them because of dirty feeder goldfish.. 3months ago i shift and trained them to eat non live foods.

i have notice that they only eat 1-2pcs fish fillet per day(before they eat 5-7pcs goldfish). my pbass loss weight and became lean! especially the monoculus. can you help me guys, how will i make my pbass became fatter and bigger just like yours?? :( thanks

i have no problem feeding my temensis, they eat anything!:)

so when my peacock bass gets bigger can i feed it market shrimp as his main diet then worms, tilipia and all that good stuff as a varied diet

live feeding is good. but not sick goldfish. try breeding different small cichlid as feeders :)
What about minnows..are they any better or worse than goldfish?
