I I wanted to put two 3"pbass into a 150 gallon aquarium.... how long can they stay in there??? is this tank big enough for life???? best foods to feed them???

It depends how much you feed them the best food for them when they are that size is feeder shrimp and feeder goldfish. They have the most supplements they need. But when they get to like 5-6" try to get them on frozen/freeze dried. I am trying to get mine onto earthworms. They could probably live in there for about a year or so.

theyll be ok there for a good while.... just be careful for aggression amongst them as they start growing.

so your telling me they can't eat pellets?????

No they can but everyone reccomends they eat feeders when small. That's why everyone says that. Mine however have ate pellets since 3".

Just to give u a heads up pbass are not for newbs when they get 20+ inches they are hard to keep happy and they can be transfered onto pellets but it is very hard. As Dmack told me "hwo are u gonna fill the belly of a 20 inch fish with pellets?" They eat live food and sometimes frozen. For life a 150 wont be good you need like a 240 one more thing pbass can be very aggresive keep them at around 86 degrees F and have VERY good filtration. Choose tankmates wiely (Hint hint) here is a photo of a adult I dont want to get in any trouble this is STEVE_89's photo IT IS NOT MINE it is his and i dont want to take it illigally

i'm gonna add pics please I would like to know more about these fish... it's hard to find info on them

k here's the pics.... ohhh i'm not a noob at keeping fish I have been keeping discus for years and have a lot of different CA cichlids in my time. First time dealing with bass though, I have honestly never even seen one before today. Had to buy them..... I usually advise people never to do that lol

Well I know your thinking what the hell are they doing in a tank with cories... but the Pbass are only like 3 inches and there in a 65 gallon community tank for a couple days until I get my 150 ready, where they will be housed alone. Please tell me what kind of Pbass they are???? are they a really cool fish as they grow like are they owner responsive and stuff or do they just lay in the corner all day???? can I feed minnows and worms from like a game shop when they are larger???

Looks like Tems. You'll really need a big tank. They grow over 30 inches.
